Hello! This comment has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but I found your blog through your comment on A Place Called Simplicity and I was wondering how you were able to adopt from China as a single woman. I am single and would love to adopt from China but I thought they did not allow singles to adopt. Would love to hear how you were able to do that!
Rebecca, I tired to see if you had an email or blog so I could reply to you....but could not find you, so I will reply here, just in case you check back.
I brought my daughter home in June 2006. 6 months latter, China passed the new guidelines including singles not being able to adopt. So God blessed me with getting my daughter right before the change.
I know there are other Asian countries that still allow singles to adopt. You might want to check, I think Hong Kong, Twaiwan, not sure about Viet Nam..... If an Asian child is your desire.
